Katie Wilson, Vice President, Channels and Global Acquisitions, WildBrain, oversees original programming and content acquisition across WildBrain’s portfolio of Canadian broadcast channels—Family Channel, WildBrainTV, Family Jr., Télémagino—and their multiplatform/VOD extensions. Working closely with WildBrain’s global content, distribution and marketing teams,
Wilson spearheads third-party rights acquisitions and partnerships across all platforms. Wilson also provides editorial direction for the company’s distribution channels for kids and families worldwide, driving audience engagement through content curation. Previously, as Director of Programming, Kids, at Corus, Wilson’s remit included commissioning original content and
overseeing programming strategy across the company’s flagship kids’ networks, YTV, Treehouse and TELETOON. She also oversaw the management and scheduling across partnership channels, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Disney Channel in Canada.
