China Bridge Content

Josh Selig is the Founder and President of China Bridge Content, a company committed to building strong creative and business ties between China and the world. He is the former CEO of Little Airplane Productions, a company he founded in 1999 that was acquired by Studio 100 in 2017. Josh is the Creator and Executive Producer of many popular children's series including The Wonder Pets! on Nick Jr., 3rd & Bird on CCTV/CBeebies, and Small Potatoes on Disney Junior/KiKA. Josh has received 12 Emmy Awards for his writing and his musical compositions. He wrote and directed the animated feature film Meet The Small Potatoes which premiered on Disney Junior US and was subsequently released by Universal and streamed on Netflix. Josh has worked extensively with Chinese media companies. He was the Executive Producer of Super Wings on Sprout which was co-produced with the Alpha Group and Germany's KIKA. He was also the Creator and Executive Producer of P. King Duckling which was produced with UYoung for Disney Junior and CCTV-14. In the '90's Josh worked with the iconic brand Sesame Street as a writer, filmmaker and producer and helped set up several Sesame Street co-productions in countries including Israel/Palestine, China and Poland. Josh has written for The New York Times, The Dallas Morning News and The South China Morning Post. Currently, Josh and his team at China Bridge Content are developing a new preschool comedy called Buffalo Nanny, and they are working with Toonz Media Group on an original 6 - 9 comedy called Peaches & Creaminal. China Bridge Content has recently partnered with the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. to create original characters and materials for their Museum of Asian Art. www.chinabridgecontent.com
