Marney Malabar is a passionate creator of educational videos and gaming content for children. She aspires to ensure children can connect with authentic stories and see themselves reflected on the screen regardless of whether the content is live-action or animated. While in the role of Director at TVOkids, Marney greenlit local and international co-productions in an ever-evolving digital space helping kids be successful inside and outside the classroom. Marney has been nominated and received numerous international awards in her role as Executive Producer including Daytime Emmys, Canadian Screen Awards and Junos nominations. While a staff Producer at TVO she also won an International Emmy and three Canadian Gemini Awards. In June 2017 she completed her Master of Education from the University of Toronto and currently works as a consultant. Marney continues to weave her love of learning and engaging children into every breakout production she works on regardless of the platform.
