Brian E. S. Jones is a creative executive at Apple TV+. He’s worked on Apple Original animated series including The Snoopy Show, Harriet the Spy, and Shape Island.
Before joining Apple, he was Vice President, Series at Warner Bros. Animation. There, he oversaw a large slate of direct-to-video DC movies and developed animated projects targeting Preschool, Kids, and Adults. He was also the EIC for multiple series including Thundercats Roar, Teen Titans Go (seasons 5-6), Young Justice, and DC Super Hero Girls. Brian’s passion for comic books, games, toys, and action animation made him the perfect candidate to oversee numerous franchise movies including Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans Go vs Teen Titans, and the latest Mortal Kombat Legends titles. He spent the previous three years at Dreamworks Animation as the EIC on the Netflix series, VeggieTales in the House.
Prior to that, he was a development and current series executive for Cartoon Network original series including multiple Ben 10 series, Sym-Bionic Titan, and Generator Rex.
In his spare time, he likes to write, draw, practice coding, and cook Jamaican food—something he wishes he practiced earlier in life. He arrogantly decided to include his middle initials in his credits because there are thousands of other Brian Joneses in the world, and he wanted to stand out, like the often-overlooked middle child.
